Typically, production time takes between 3-5 days to custom build and an additional 2-5 days for shipping. So, we estimate you can expect to receive your order anytime within 5-10 business days.

Every window has a frame. An inside mount attaches your shade to the inside of that frame, flush end to end, while an outside mount attaches outside the frame, extending beyond the frame itself. Doors and shallow windows typically call for outside mounts.

Yes. All our products come with factory grade screws, fasteners, and components to complete the installation of your shade.
Any shade bought anywhere, including ones from us, comes with a motorization option. But not everyone budgets equally. Some budgets or projects have other priorities. We know and we care. When you buy one of our non-motorized shades, motorization is an option left on the table, without calling for the hassles of paying for a new shade or an installer or altering current measurements of your shade or the subtle chaos posed against your time from the drawn-out process of changing window treatments. With us, we can send you a motorized shade now or motorization kit later. And, in under 20 minutes, turn old, new again.
We recommend that you have one remote or wall switch per room for your motorized shades.
You can control up to six windows with our six channel remotes and switches.
Channels refer to a controlled frequency used to organize your motorized shades. Whether one window at a time or all at once, channels will configure your preferences to suit your needs on demand.
Motorization indicates a remote-controlled shade operated according to the demand of the user, in real time. Automation describes shades that have the capability of being programmed to automatically operate by either an app or through a smart home hub, like Zigby.
ABB motorized shades and our motors, in general, are a rechargeable lithium ion battery in a tube shaped cylinder ideal for most shades ranging between 22-78” in width.
A battery charge lasts typically between 6-9 months. Of course, usage and frequency are variables that may affect the extent of your battery charge. If you are ordering a motorized shade, you will need a charger that plugs into a charge port located on the right-hand side of your shade, facing the window. When your shade is no longer responding to the remotes command or beginning to operate at a less than efficient rate, whether by slower response speed or motor speed, a recharge is required. Just plug the charge cable into the charge port and within 8 hours your shade is fully charged for several months.
Yes. If you download our ABB app, you can access your shades whether at home or away. You will need the Zigby hub and a password protected Wi-Fi network.
Please refer to our instruction guide here. Each shade can be set to limits in the up and down positions as a memory setting. You can also set a favorite position.
Yes, we do. We honor all warranty covered components. We also carry replacement parts, for a fee. However, after warranties expire there is the possibility that some parts may be discontinued.
We suggest dabbing a moist towel with mild soap as an effective way to deal with dirty smudges or spots. Dabbing is key and try to avoid scrubbing. One can also use a hand held vacuum and pass over the shade gently. Of course, professional cleaning companies are options too.
